Frequently Asked Questions

What formats can I open and export?

The server accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, and TIF. The visual editor also requires your browser to decode the image; TIFF may not preview, so convert it to PNG with Image Converter first. Export JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or TIFF. GIF and multipage inputs are edited as a single first-frame or first-page image.

Are edits processed locally?

The interface provides a browser preview. Export uploads the source image and edit settings to the server, which renders the downloadable result.

Can I enlarge an image?

Fit Inside keeps proportions and avoids enlargement. Other fit modes can crop, pad, or stretch to the requested dimensions. Enlarging does not recover detail missing from the source.

Will PNG output or quality 100 preserve every color?

PNG export uses a limited-color palette, so colors can change. JPG and WebP quality settings control lossy encoding; quality 100 is not a lossless guarantee. Review the exported file.

What happens to transparency?

PNG and WebP can keep existing alpha transparency. JPG uses a solid white or black background. The background selection also controls padding in applicable resize modes.

What is the upload limit?

The default limit is 30 MiB for one file. Check the upload area for the current limit. The server upload ceiling is 100 MiB per file; file complexity and processing time can also limit conversion.

Where are files processed and when are they removed?

This tool uploads files to Zutilium's server for processing. After a successful conversion, uploads are scheduled for deletion after about one minute and generated downloads after about ten minutes. Cleanup runs periodically, so removal is not immediate. Save your result promptly.
