JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, TIFF, TIF, AVIF, SVG
Max file size: 30 MiB
Convert AVIF to PNG
Turn an AVIF image into a PNG for editors and upload forms that require PNG. Select Transparent to keep an existing transparent background.
Convert TIFF to JPG
Upload a TIFF or TIF image and choose JPG for a widely supported copy. A multipage TIFF exports its first page to JPG.
Choose a transparency background
Keep alpha transparency in PNG or WebP by selecting Transparent. White and Black create an opaque background; JPG always uses a solid background.
Choose among six output formats
Export JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, or TIFF from a supported image. SVG uploads become raster images; SVG output is not available.
Adjust quality for your format
Balance detail and file size for JPG, WebP, and AVIF. PNG uses a limited-color palette. GIF and default LZW TIFF output do not use the quality control.
Resize without stretching
Keep the original dimensions or choose a maximum width of 1920, 1280, 800, or 640 pixels. Larger images shrink proportionally; smaller images stay at their original size.
How to Convert AVIF, TIFF, or Another Image
- 1
Upload one supported image and check the size limit shown in the upload area. The default limit is 30 MiB.
- 2
Choose the output format: PNG for AVIF to PNG, JPG for TIFF to JPG, or another available format.
- 3
Choose a quality setting and maximum width. Keep Original retains dimensions; a smaller width reduces the image without stretching or enlarging it.
- 4
For PNG or WebP, choose Transparent to preserve transparency. White or Black fills transparent areas; JPG always uses a solid background.
- 5
Convert, then download and save the result. Most output formats use only the first frame or page, and downloads are scheduled for deletion after about ten minutes.
What people use this tool for

- Create a JPG copy of the first page of a TIFF scan for email or a common image viewer.
- Keep a transparent logo as PNG or WebP, or add a white or black background for JPG.
- Reduce a large photo to a maximum width of 1920, 1280, 800, or 640 pixels for sharing.
- Turn an SVG into a raster image for an application that requires JPG or PNG.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which files can I upload?
Upload one JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, TIF, or SVG file. Choose JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, or TIFF for the output. SVG is rasterized into the selected format. For HEIC or PSD input, use the separate HEIC Converter or PSD Converter.
How do I convert AVIF to PNG?
Upload your AVIF file and choose PNG as the output format. Keep Original preserves its dimensions. If the AVIF contains transparency, choose Transparent under Background Color before converting. Download the PNG when conversion finishes.
How do I convert TIFF or TIF to JPG?
Upload the TIFF or TIF file, choose JPG, and select a quality setting. Choose White or Black for transparent areas. A multipage TIFF produces one JPG from its first page; this tool does not extract every page or offer page selection.
Will the converted image keep its transparent background?
For PNG or WebP output, select Transparent to preserve existing alpha transparency. The default White setting fills transparent areas with white; Black fills them with black. JPG cannot store transparency, so its Transparent selection also uses white. The background control applies to JPG, PNG, and WebP output.
Does Image Converter preserve animation or multiple pages?
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and TIFF output use only the first frame or page of the input. GIF output can retain supported animated GIF or WebP input. This tool has no frame timing, frame ordering, or page selection controls. A still image converted to GIF remains a still image.
What does the quality setting do?
The values 70, 80, 90, and 100 are encoder settings, not percentages of the original image's quality. JPG, WebP, and AVIF use lossy compression. PNG uses a palette of up to 256 colors, which can change colors. GIF ignores this setting, and TIFF uses LZW compression, so changing quality does not reduce its file size. A value of 100 does not guarantee a lossless copy.
Can I make an image larger?
The Max Width option only reduces images wider than the selected limit. It keeps the aspect ratio and never enlarges a smaller image. Choose Keep Original to retain the original dimensions.
What is the upload size limit?
The default limit is 30 MiB per image (31,457,280 bytes). Check the upload area for the current limit. Very large images above 100 million pixels can also be rejected even when the file is below the byte limit.
Where are my images processed, and when are they deleted?
Images are uploaded to Zutilium's server for conversion. After a successful conversion, the original upload is scheduled for deletion after about one minute and the converted file after about ten minutes. Cleanup runs periodically, so deletion is not immediate. Download and save the result promptly.
