JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, TIFF, TIF
Max file size: 30 MiB
One image becomes one GIF
Convert a JPG, PNG, WebP, or TIFF image into a single-frame GIF. This tool does not assemble an animation from several images.
Choose palette size
Select 32, 64, 128, or 256 colors. Smaller palettes can change gradients and fine color detail.
Reduce image width
Keep the original dimensions or choose a maximum width of 640, 480, or 320 pixels. Resizing keeps proportions and does not enlarge smaller images.
How to Use GIF Creator
- 1
Upload one supported image.
- 2

- 3
Convert and download the still GIF. Use an animation tool when you need several frames.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this tool make an animated GIF?
It creates a still GIF from one input image. Use Animated GIF Maker for multiple images, Sprite Sheet to GIF for a grid of frames, or Video to GIF for a video clip.
Which input formats are supported?
JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, and TIF. GIF is the output format, not an accepted upload format on this page.
What happens to multipage or animated input?
Only the first frame or page is read. The output is a single-frame GIF.
Will the colors match the source exactly?
GIF has at most 256 palette colors. Quantization can alter colors or gradients, especially with photographs. Check the downloaded result.
What is the upload limit?
The default limit is 30 MiB for one file. Check the upload area for the current limit. The server upload ceiling is 100 MiB per file; file complexity and processing time can also limit conversion.
Where are files processed and when are they removed?
This tool uploads files to Zutilium's server for processing. After a successful conversion, uploads are scheduled for deletion after about one minute and generated downloads after about ten minutes. Cleanup runs periodically, so removal is not immediate. Save your result promptly.
