Choose resolution and quality

Select 72, 150, or 300 DPI and a JPEG quality setting. Higher resolution increases pixel dimensions and can increase file size.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this convert every PDF page at once?

No. One selected page is converted per operation. Change the page number and convert again to export another page.

Can I upload a password-protected PDF?

Use an unencrypted PDF. There is no password entry or unlocking step.

Does higher DPI restore missing detail?

No. Higher DPI renders more pixels but cannot restore detail absent from the source. Choose a resolution appropriate for how the image will be used.

Can I convert the JPG back to the original PDF?

Images to PDF can place the JPG in a new PDF, but original selectable text, links, forms, and vector detail are not recovered.

What is the upload limit?

The default limit is 20 MiB for one file. Check the upload area for the current limit. The server upload ceiling is 100 MiB per file; file complexity and processing time can also limit conversion.

Where are files processed and when are they removed?

This tool uploads files to Zutilium's server for processing. After a successful conversion, uploads are scheduled for deletion after about one minute and generated downloads after about ten minutes. Cleanup runs periodically, so removal is not immediate. Save your result promptly.
