Drop your file here
or click anywhere to browse
Four content types
Encode website links, plain text, Wi-Fi network details or a contact card.
PNG and SVG downloads
Save a 512 or 1024 pixel PNG, or a scalable SVG with a clear scanning margin.
Local generation
QR codes are generated in this browser without sending entered content to the server.
How to generate a static QR code
- 1
Choose Website URL, Text, Wi-Fi network or Contact card.
- 2
Enter the content. Website links need http:// or https://; Wi-Fi needs the exact network name and security setting.
- 3
Choose a 512 or 1024 pixel PNG size and select Generate QR code.
- 4
Download PNG or SVG, then scan it with your phone or QR Code Reader before sharing.
What people use this tool for
- Share a website on printed material.
- Help guests join a Wi-Fi network.
- Add a contact card to a business card.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change a QR code after downloading it?
These codes are static: the text or destination is encoded directly in the image. To change it, generate a new QR code. This tool does not provide redirects, scan tracking or a dynamic QR management service.
Do these QR codes expire?
The code stores your content directly and does not expire. A website link still depends on the destination remaining available. These are static codes, so changing the content requires generating a new code.
Can I include Arabic or other Unicode text?
Yes. Text is encoded as UTF-8, with a limit of 1,800 bytes. Unicode characters can occupy several bytes. Scanner support may vary, so test your download before sharing it.
Are Wi-Fi passwords private?
The password stays in your browser during generation, but it is stored in the resulting code. Anyone who scans or decodes that QR code can read it. Share it only with intended network users.
Why is the QR code black and white?
High contrast and a clear four-module margin help scanners read the code. Shorter content also makes it easier to scan at small sizes.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG is a raster image at 512 or 1024 pixels per side. SVG keeps the QR modules as vector shapes and can be resized for print. Keep the clear border and test the exported code at its final display size.
